Highlights
Breaking Rob Denmarks course record for the short leg in the National 12 Stage Road Relays by 10Seconds running 13.23. To be ahead of guys like Denmark, Brendan Foster, Seb Coe was a pretty good day. Also breaking the National 6 Stage Record by 28 Seconds to run 16.25 which is the better of the two records.
Another highlight was at the Great Manchester run (10K) where I ran 28.37 and beat three defending champions: Stefano Baldini (Olympic Marathon Champ), Jose Manuel Martinez (European 10K Champ) and Wilberforce Talel (Commonwealth 10K Champ)
Disappointments
Getting tripped over during the World XC in Fukuoka, Japan whilst in a good position, I got up and tried to get back into the race but the whole field and pretty much passed me, and there isn’t a lot of time over a 4km race.
My Track Times are a disappointment for me, I struggle with blood blisters over 3km on track which stopped me running a decent 5k time, running the same direction all the time constantly loaded the same area of my foot. This is why I feel more at home on the roads.
Ambitions/Future Plans
I am looking to build up in distance and eventually target a marathon; initially I will be looking to race a few 10milers and Half Marathons and get a feel for them, having only previously raced up to 10K

What would you have done if you hadn’t been so good at running: Probably either worked as a Sports Masseuse or in the IT Sector in some shape or form
