Nick Goolab
Name: Nick Goolab
D.O.B: 30/01/1990
Club/County/Country: Belgrave Harriers/Middlesex/England
Occupation: Student
Personal Profile: I like doing a bit of everything, track, road and cross country. Probably like road and track the most because they are the faster!
Ambitions/Future aspirations:
Want to try to make run the European Cross and the World Cross team as a junior this year and then run some fast times on the track. Long-term I want to make a successful transition form junior to senior and then go on from there.
Personal best performances:
- 1500m 3:54
- 3000m 8:24
Championship/Competitive Achievements:
- London Mini-Marathon Winner 2006/2007
- Ranked 6th in Britain over 3000m 2008
- Finished a very close 2nd in Lotto Cross Cup in Mol in November 2008 where I made my England debut and was the first English scorer
- National 6 stage gold medallist with Belgtrave in October 2008
Best Race: Lotto Cross Cup (because it was my first international!) or the National 6 stage
Worse Race: Had so many as a youngster, but probably AAA where I did the U17 3k. Was in horrible shape and felt terrible.
Mine is the T6 Racer. Light as a feather but cushioned enough to put a spring in your step, great stuff!!
