D.O.B. Jack was recruited by Northamptonshire from Minor Counties side Oxfordshire, Jack is a promising quick bowler who made his first class debut against Ricky Ponting's touring Australian team in 2009. Jack took 4-76 on his championship debut against fellow promotion hopefuls, Derbyshire. Jack's main forte is his ability to make fast-bowling look effortless. He has an easy repeatable action and a laid-back attitude to his cricket which belies an inner determination to succeed. His trademark headband makes him an instantly recognisable figure at Wantage Road. Jack has got off to a good season this year with the ball at Northants which he hopes will continue. Testimonial "As an opening bowler in 1st class cricket my feet and legs are constantly under a lot of strain, therefore it is of upmost importance to wear a quality stable shoe/boot with excellent support and comfort, I choose the Brooks Adrenaline footwear as it is easily the best footwear I have trained in for comfort, stability and helps me to train at optimum performance".
