Especially like the ...

... Beasts, though am only a slight pronator - have always preferred some trusty well cushioned clumpies for long and easy runs. The Glycerins I've just received are great and the Mach 6 spikes are an excellent x-c spike.

BEST RACE:

  • 1988 World X-C Champs - first major event and proved I could perform better under pressure. Plus 3 weeks in New Zealand!

WORST RACE:

  • 1985 National - 51st .  9 miles of 6 inch deep muddy clay - thought I could come top 20, but was (not very) grateful to get round. Played inter-hall rugby at Loughborough the next day and got 7 stitches in my calf. What a weekend!

AMBITIONS:

  • To get the Cornwall AC team into the top six in the National X-C and National Road Relays.
  • To run as well as I possibly can, particularly in the 2005 London Marathon.
  • To make another Games and be very grateful!

FAVOURITE MUSIC:

Anything with a touch of aggression. The Undertones, AC/DC, Guns & Roses, Boney M and soft rock/punk.
