Favourite Brooks shoes:
I am currently wearing a pair of the Glycerin trainers which I find very comfortable and give me lots of cushioning but on thursdays when we are doing the tempo run I am wearing my favourite pair of brooks trainers which are THE BURN. They are so comfy and feel so responsive but still give you more than enough support. And for those track session on tuesday night I wear the Surge middle distance spike which is light stylish and feels good on my feet and as for the apparell it is light feels good to the skins and lets your body breathe I look forward to wearing the new season apparrel.

I am the current ulster and all Ireland schools 3000m Champion and I also won the U.K Schools 3000m title this year and in June of 2007 i won the AAA.s u/17 3000m title. I also won the Ulster schools x/c title and was runner up at the all Ireland final more recently I won the u/17 race at the Stormont international x/c meeting January 08. And I won the u/17 race at the Edinburgh international x/c meeting in late January 08. I then competed at the Irish indoors championships at 1500m which I won in a new Irish junior record for that distance 4m24sec (old rec 4m26sec). My plans for February/March are to retain my Ulster schools x/c title and to go one better at the Irish Final. Then I will run the Irish x/c trial in Belfast to make the Irish junior team for the world x/c to be held in Edinburgh march 29th. I will then concentrate on the two big junior events this year which are the World youth games in Poland in July 08 and the Commonwealth youth Games in Delhi India in August 08 were I would like to run the 1500m if selected. I have both the A standard for the 1500m/3000m for both events. I also play camogie for my school and my hometown Portaferry as well as playing for my county at under age level Co Down my ambition is to be running well enough in 2012 and be selected to run at the London Olympics.
After the x/c season which was very successful for me I won the all ireland u/17 x.c title as well as being runner up at the irish schools x/c I also had wins at the stormont u/17 international, Edinburgh international u/17 and I won the Irish senior indoor 1500m title setting a new Irish junior record of 4m24sec I intend to do the 1500m at the ulster schools and irish schools track and field championships and then il have a short break to prepare for the world youth champs in poland in july as well as the commonwealth youth games in Delhi india in august.
May 08 update…
… saw the start of the schools track and field and on Friday 2nd May the district schools took place where I ran and won the inter girls 1500m in a time of 4m54sec - a slow race because of the windy conditions but it was a district record. Then on Sat 22nd May it was off to the Antrim forum for the Ulster Schools track finals & again I was running the inter girls 1500m which I won in a new Ulster schools record of 4m34sec. Another week of hard training followed, then it was of down to Tullamore in Co Offally for the Irish schools track and field finals and yet again I was running in the inter girls 1500m and the weather was hot and humid but ideal for middle distance running. I won the event in a time of 4m28 sec, an outdoor pb for me - so very happy with that! Next stop Mannheim in Germany on the 29th June for a Junior International event then some good training before heading to Poland in July for the World Junior Champs if selected …
